Umbraco Developer & MVP (2x)
I am a Certified Umbraco Master Developer, which means I have completed all of the training courses and can demonstrate that I know the Umbraco CMS inside out.
I have worked with the Umbraco CMS since 2017, working with every version from 4 upwards.
I am also an Umbraco MVP, which means I have been recognised for my work in the Community. This includes helping run the Umbraco Web Developers Facebook page, sharing knowledge and helping others, creating and maintaining packages, and other community-focused initiatives.
Cloud & On Premise Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer
I have worked with on-premise hosting infrastructure professionally since 2009 and outside of this in my own time since 2003.
I have experience working with many server operating systems including (but not limited to) Windows, Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS.
Alongside this I have been working with Microsoft Azure since 2017 migrating infrastructure into the cloud, using everything from App Services, Azure Search, Virtual Machines to regional databases and load balancing and much more.
I am also fluent in writing build and deployment (CI / CD) Azure Pipelines and GitHub Action Workflows for frontend builds as well as Umbraco, deploying to the cloud and/or on-premise infrastructure.
I created UmbHost Limited in 2020 which is a cloud-based hosting service primarily for the Umbraco CMS which was a great success.
